Mill Pond Acre Bed & Breakfast ( Fairborn )
A prairie style one and a half story house built at the site of the first grist mill to operate in Fairborn, Ohio. O.B. Armstrong and his wife, Inez, and son, George, owned and operated the mill on West Xenia Drive for many years. Long after the house was first built in 1920 the Armstrongs added a full second story, a small cottage and a carriage house on the property that Inez often referred to as the "Mill Pond Acre" This is a beautiful acre of land located within the city limits and walking distance to all the shops and cafes of Fairborn. We are located only 2.5 miles from the main headquarters gates of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and just six miles to the Air Force Museum.
During the week we offer an expanded continental breakfast that includes hot and cold cereals, homemade breads or rolls, fruits, juice and coffee, ground each day for freshness, by 6AM! Weekends we prepare an American traditional breakfast guaranteed to please any appetite. Enjoy breakfast in the dining room with a tranquil view of the woods, garden and goldfish pond.
